More exciting news from Xutian who plan to introduce yet another Atlanta model into their factory by the end of this year.
For many years, mobile pallet wrappers have been offered for sale by other manufacturers but the new SFERA from Atlanta is different. Designed and built for the past two years in Italy, it has sold well and now, built in China, it will serve a segment of the market particularly where a turntable wrapper will not do the job.
The SFERA can wrap loads before they are moved, you simply take it to each pallet load, attach the film and the machine does the rest. It is therefore being widely used in Distribution Warehouses where mixed pallet loads are being made up at many separate loading stations.
Any size, length or width of load can be wrapped, the machine simply follows the profile of the load. Very heavy loads are just as simply dealt with, the pallet rests on the floor!
The SFERA has Atlanta's unique pivoting arm mechanism, so it requires no maintenance, moves from area to area through open doors and retails a very low centre of gravity, even when wrapping tall loads. Special Gel sealed batteries means no spills, no maintenance and no gas during recharging. Simply plug into a wall socket for an overnight re-charge.
Film savings are achieved by using the Atlanta's proven film pre-stretching technology and the machine can be upgraded from basic to high level film carriages, just plug and play.
There are no installation costs involved, simply unpack the box and start wrapping, and it can be taken from job to job. After use it can be safely stored and out of the way of fork lift trucks and other vehicles within the factory.
Xutian will make another announcement nearer the time of availability but in the meantime they are carrying out market research across their network of Distributors to be sure sales get off to a good start.
